Multi-Frequency Side Sonar searches can cover a wide area quickly and are useful for understanding and mapping the bottom as well as finding lost items.

I have used this system to locate multiple sunken vessels and vehicles.  This system is useful in finding contents of overturned boats and larger sporting goods items such as hydrofoils, rudders,  masts, guns, lost outboard motors, and trolling motor batteries.
